Deuces to 2022

It’s that time of year again. The time to throw out the old calendar and post the new one. The time to look back over the year and say out with the old and in with the new. The time to say goodbye, sayonara, arrivederci, adios, hasta la vista, and just straight up deuces to 2022. It’s the end of the year y’all.
As I look back over this past year, I know it’s been full of ups and downs for a lot of people. We’ve all been still dealing with the repercussions of a global pandemic, as we try to figure out what our new normal is. There’s been a war going on between Russia and Ukraine that has gripped us all and maintained our attention. We’ve dealt with supply chain shortages around the world that have impacted everything from computer chips to food. We’ve seen inflation at an all-time high, which has made it hard for some to even afford food and gas. Plus on top of all of that, we’re in the middle of a recession, despite what the government wants you to believe. Yes, 2022 has been one for the books, but it’s time to turn the page to 2023.
For me personally, the year has been a whirlwind as well. I’ve had to deal with some issues within myself as a man and parent that has brought on introspection and growth. I started a new business with my best friends and stepped way outside of my comfort zone. Anyone that knows me, knows I’m not the front-and-center type of person. However, we decided to start a podcast, and low and behold, I’ve been front and center on camera recording. I’m thankful to my brothers, Frank “Frank da Tank” Raney and Caro “Henn” Cambric for embarking on this journey with me. Without these brothers, I would not have been able to make this thing work.
This past year has truly been a journey both personally and professionally, and I can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store for all of us. Like the old country song says, “If the Good Lord’s willing and the creek don’t rise.” That means we’re not done yet and I’ll see y’all in 2023.
As always,
Kings Can Move On y’all.
